The Pandemic has made it increasingly important to understand how trauma can impact us, our teams, and our members. Thanks to advances in neuroscience and a more expanded view of our nervous systems, we now have a fuller understanding of trauma's hidden influences in our society. We typically look at trauma and stress through the lens of the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. However, in this webinar, we will examine the Social Engagement System, which is the third branch of the autonomic nervous system that is unique to mammals, and especially to humans, and has been critical to our survival.

Come explore new ways to think and talk about the nervous system and your brain, as well as powerful ways we can intentionally recruit these hardwired safety systems to build resilience in ourselves, our staffs, and our members.
