CMAACT hosts monthly education sessions on a variety of topics such as Food and Beverage Management, Membership Recruitment and Retention, Human Resources, and Interviewing Skills. The monthly education sessions are designed to provide the members with knowledge crucial to success in the club industry, as well as to provide a forum of social and professional interaction among managers. Our education meetings are most often held on Tuesday mornings at a club in Connecticut. The education is followed by a business meeting, which provides updates on chapter news, and lunch, allowing you to network with your fellow managers.
Education is one of the most important benefits of your membership, and we highly encourage our members to attend each month. Members may extend an invitation to other managers at their club to attend as a guest. Attendance earns points towards the CCM designation.
